🌊 JUKAI Japanese & Thai – Dartmouth Location

Situated near the scenic waterfront at King’s Wharf, the Dartmouth branch of JUKAI Japanese & Thai boasts an inviting environment where traditional Asian cuisine meets modern interior design. NPN Construction played a key role in the full interior renovation and buildout of this two-unit restaurant space.

Scope of Work:

• Sushi counter and prep zone construction – Built for optimal chef performance and visibility, this feature serves as the focal point of the open-concept layout.
• Extensive tile work – Water-resistant, slip-proof tiles were installed throughout high-traffic and kitchen areas to ensure both style and function.
• Precision millwork – Custom cabinetry, wall panels, and wood accents provide both storage and character to the dining room.
• Integrated lighting solutions – Functional kitchen lighting was paired with soft, ambient dining area lights to create an inviting, high-end atmosphere.

This location posed unique logistical challenges, including coordination with two adjacent commercial units and waterfront building regulations. Thanks to close collaboration with the client and suppliers, the project was delivered on time with excellent results.
